Gather Ingredients & mix together ( all dried items):
6 pounds long grain white rice
2 pounds pinto beans
2 pounds barley
2 pounds lentils
1/2 pound split peas
1/2 pound chick peas
This makes roughly 30 cups of soup mix (20 batches of soup). Vacuum seal and store with label and date.
TO make soup, use 1 1/2 cups of mix to 6 quarts of water, add bullion to flavor, Add garlic powder and a tablespoon of oil. Boil and simmer 2 hours.
